YES! I loved learning at the end of last year that in TCM winter begins when the last leaf falls from the tree, we have a long way to go yet and yes to alllll of the candles. I hope these liminal omen days have been filled with magic and meaning xx

Ah yes, it really helps me to think of it in that way...a continuation but with a means of going somewhere perhaps...? Ooo yes, I love the idea of the months melting into each other...I loved finding out about how December and January were once counted as one month, it makes a lot of sense to me.
