It was such a pleasure to have you Victoria. Thank you for sharing the beautiful insights into your home and garden — I can't wait to hear more about your Yule celebrations when it comes around and how your front garden unfolds in the spring xx

Love the idea of connecting the indoors and outdoors. And that writing shed 😍

Thank you! The writing shed is less pristine (and less used for writing) these days as the hedge and plants all around it have taken over, and my son has claimed it as a play shed, but I like the slightly wilder / messier version of it!

I love that too. Victoria’s garden and surroundings sound so beautiful and I love the intentionality of it all being part of the same continuum. And yes...totally a dream writing space! xx

Thank you for sharing! I love the idea of bringing nature and seasons into your home. Tragically, I am notoriously bad at keeping living things alive (the dogs and the child are my limit) so houseplants are advised to keep a safe distance from me, even though I love what they bring to a space. I compensate by keeping my huge windows uncovered to the skies: we are situated on top of a hill, and the view can be dizzyingly magnificent. It seems, on occasion, like I'm living in a tree house. I also have many of my rooms painted in soft green hues, which is particularly calming and creates that sense of nature creeping in, to a degree.

Your house sounds amazing Belinda! I would love to live in a tree house with far-reaching views and big skies above. Sounds magical. As for houseplants, you're not alone... mine often give up on me, but I keep trying! Have a lovely week x

Thank you for replying! We bought it for the view.... the rest needs a little work, shall we say 😊 I'm glad it's not just me who forgetfully endangers their house plants!

Have a lovely week, too ❤️

Thank you for reading Belinda. It sounds as though your location of your home more than compensates for the houseplant challenges, so magical, I am transported to your tree house! And yes to soft greens, I am often drawn to green, it certainly has a grounding and calming feel that is synonymous with being immersed in nature xx
